The project home page links to the background to the site, who did it and why, and back to this page again if you like going round in circles. Of course, if you know what you're looking for use the menu on the right which appears on every page. If you're trying to finding the images you need then there are recommended on-line galleries and advice on scanning, making your own and taking your own with a digital camera. Beware, though, digital image sizes not just resolution but also file size and things to remember if you're e-mailing any and the all important copyright considerations.

Once you have the image, adding images to documents will cover things like position, cropping, enhancement, paper size and making posters. Learn about image file types and whether you need jpg, png or gif and transparency. Then there are screen prints and clip art too. Appreciate the problems with text and how to utilise fonts, line length, emphasis, text boxes and text images. Finally find out about the free tools for text, drawing, image editing and web page design.
