You have some information to share with others. How do you do it?

Increasingly these days, people use visual aids to communicate a mesage or an idea and especially in training environments the use of presentations on a screen has replaced the flip chart and whiteboard.

Presentations may bring to mind the expression 'Death by PowerPoint' but there are many ways to avoid that!

In this unit you will have the opportunity to create several slide shows and to discover different ways to use presentation software.

Whilst Microsoft PowerPoint is the market leader in this field, being a part of the popular Microsoft Office suite, there are alternatives available, notably the free OpenOffice Impress and on-line tools like Thumbstacks you can use just as effectively for most purposes.
