Anyone dealing with computers at home or in business these days will need to work with images. Whether they are digital photos taken with a phone or camera or pictures found on the web you need to know how to edit them and save them correctly.

More often than not, the original image will need adjustment and it will be too big for what you want it for. You may want just a part of it or need to fix one that's not as good as it might be. All these things you can learn in this unit.

You'll need to get used to some different sorts of software but can do a lot with some applications like PowerPoint too.

In addition, you will learn how to present text well and accurately and how to create your own artwork for graphics like logos.

Of course, you will also need to know a bit about how the law affects what you can do with IT, especially how it applies to using images.
