Even the best photographers with the best equipment don’t always get things right and it may be the case that the only image you can find to illustrate something is a bit shabby or dull. Before you decide to skip adding it try fiddling with some of the many tools available in any image editor. Moving from the uninspiring field picture to the smart butterfly took just two quick steps: adjust the contrast / brightness and crop to the one interesting part of it.
