Information and advice

If you haven’t thought about what type of learning may be best for you or would like some good advice about where to start this is the page for you. There is good advice available.

See the list of centres in the area that specialise in giving adults information about learning.

What can they offer?

Each of the centres is a ‘nextstep’ service provider which means that they offer a professional service. All nextstep providers are registered and regulated. They have to employ qualified staff who are trained to give advice and guidance. Centres that do this and meet the standard are known as Matrix accredited. Look for the logo [example needed] and you can be sure that the centre and its staff will know how to advise you so that you can get started on your learning journey.

NextStep is available to adults over 20 and can help with:

CVs
Interview techniques
Career change
Course information to gain qualifications
Other assistance in helping people into training, work or learning
Signposting service to other providers best suited to meet YOUR needs.

Information about nextstep providers in Bedfordshire and Luton are given below. You will find them welcoming, informal and ready to advise you on your requirements.
