I am an Associate Lecturer and Programme Adviser with the Institute for Work Based Learning at Middlesex University, where I have also been a student completing an MA programme too!

Providing support to students on degree programmes through distance learning has really shown the benefits and limitations of e-learning technology! I am also working with staff there to look at new developments and have set up a forum where we can discuss ideas and share material.

This has been an excellent period of training for me in the processes involved in Higher Education - from advising on appropriate modules through to arguing about, I mean, negotiating, grades and attendance at Assessment Boards and Moderation.

They also have a Cyprus office I wouldn't mind being posted to - hmm, maybe I'd better brush up my Greek first!
